Harr Electric is a local, family-owned electrical company in Nashville, Tennessee. We specialize in Commercial, Industrial, and Residential electrical services. Jep Harr is from Austin, Texas and moved to Nashville in 2008. With over 20 years experience, he is highly skilled and knowledgeable in his trade. Starting as an apprentice in the 90’s, Jep worked to earn his Journeyman’s license and ultimately his Master’s licensure in 2010. 

Before starting Harr Electric, Jep worked as a foreman on commercial sites, a residential wireman and served the Nashville community as an electrician for the Davidson County Parks Department. Jep is dedicated to providing superior customer service and is known for his upstanding character and commitment to his quality of work.

    Yes, but you must use a dimmer and light fixture specially made for fluorescent lights.

  • What does a GFCI device do?

    A GFCI device is a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. It is a device designed to protect you from electrical shock.

  • How often should I inspect or test my industrial/commercial electrical equipment?

    All electrical equipment used in industrial, commercial or institutional settings should be checked regularly by a qualified professional.

  • Which electrical sockets need RCDs in my house?

    According to the latest regulations (17th Edition Wiring Regulations) issued in 2011, all electrical sockets in your home require RCD for safety.
